Lee v Lee
A legacy divided
🇺🇸 Lee v. Lee: A Legacy Divided
🧑⚖️ Rex E. Lee vs. 🗳️ Senator Mike Lee
⸻
“I’m the Solicitor General, not the Pamphleteer General.”
— Rex E. Lee
When Rex E. Lee served under President Reagan, he stood for principle over partisanship. As Solicitor General, he refused to let politics dictate the law. And when pressured to compromise his integrity for political goals, he resigned rather than play the partisan game.
His legacy: The law belongs to the people, not the party.
⸻
Fast forward to Senator Mike Lee, his son:
📉 Then (2016):
• Called Donald Trump “unelectable.”
• Demanded that Trump “prove himself a defender of the Constitution.”
• Publicly refused to endorse him after the Access Hollywood tape.
🔁 Now (2024–2025):
• Equates Trump with “Sammy Hagar” while still backing him.
• Went from calling Trump dangerous to fighting to stay in his good graces.
• Claims we’re living through a “Nightmare on Waltz Street” — blaming Marxists for a tragic shooting before facts were known.
• Mocked the death of Minnesota Senator Nicole Mitchell, posting a tone-deaf jab about her “breaking and entering” arrest while her death was still fresh.
This is not public service. This is performance politics at its worst.
⸻
🪙 The American Fleecing
Senator Mike Lee has also championed the sale of our public lands, siding with corporations over conservation. What his father once saw as a sacred trust — government of the people — Mike has auctioned to the highest bidder.
⸻
🔚 Final Verdict:
Rex Lee fought for the law.
Mike Lee fights for Trump.
The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
One stood for America. The other stands for applause.
